Taverhan School (Norwich)

Aluminium Standing Seam Acoustic Roof

The roof was constructed with a .9 aluminium standing seam and acoustic liners. Aluminium fascias and rain-water pipes and C19 profile vertical cladding and soffits. Contract value to us was £490k. There was three different phases to the contract; these were the sports hall, teaching block and science block. These were all completed on time and within budget spread over a two year period. We managed to procure the materials and held the prices for all six schools, of which we completed two - the other being Thorpe Hamlet primary school. These were part of the Norwich PFI schools for future and are spread across the Norwich area. We worked very closely with Ash & Lacy Building Systems on the design of all the six schools and they held the prices for two years until all schools had been completed which helped us with our tender bids.
